# Why Does HUSL Use Stripe for In-App Payments?

## Learn why HUSL integrated Stripe to make seamless, multi-item payments easy for stylists

The HUSL app allows you to **take payments directly** — no EFTPOS terminal or separate card reader needed (however, we do have the Stripe Card Reader available as an option to purchase from our Wholesale Shop).

#### **Why Stripe?**

We chose **Stripe** because it’s the only banking system that allows **multiple transactions in one seamless payment**. This means at the point of sale, you can charge for:

- Hair service(s)
- Physical retail product(s)
- Dropship products

All in **one tap**. Stripe automatically splits the payment:

- Hair services + physical products → **your bank account**
- Dropship product orders → **HUSL**

After a dropship sale, you’ll receive a **notification in the app within 24 hours** to invoice HUSL for your commission.

- Automatically splits payments for hassle-free tracking
- Easy for both retail and dropship items

- Make sure your Stripe account is **linked correctly** in the app for smooth payments.
- Check your app notifications after dropship sales to invoice HUSL for your commission.
