# Can I use Tap to Pay on my iPad with the HUSL app?

## Yes, you can use HUSL on your iPad and still take card payments — simply use a Stripe Card Reader instead of Tap to Pay on the iPad.

### Why Tap to Pay isn't available on iPad

At this stage, **Apple only supports Tap to Pay on iPhone, not iPad**.

While some newer iPads have NFC hardware, they don't support Tap to Pay, which allows an iPhone to act as a contactless payment terminal without any additional hardware.

### 💳 Using HUSL on your iPad? You can still take payments.

If you prefer to use HUSL on your iPad, you can purchase the **Stripe Card Reader from the HUSL Wholesale Shop for $99**, or receive one **free when you purchase 6 x Unwritten So Sublime bundles**.

The Stripe Card Reader connects to HUSL and allows you to take card payments directly through the app.

### Your payment options with HUSL

You can take card payments using:

- **iPhone** — Tap to Pay
- **Compatible Android phone with NFC** — Tap to Pay
- **iPad + Stripe Card Reader** — card payments through the HUSL app
- **iPhone/iPad + Stripe Card Reader** — card payments through the HUSL app
- OR send the invoice via SMS/email

### Setting up your payment method

1. Make sure your device is running the latest software.
2. Connect your **Stripe account** by tapping **Payments** in HUSL.
3. In HUSL Settings, tap **Set up Tap to Pay** if you're using a compatible iPhone or Android device.
4. If you're using the Stripe Card Reader, tap **Set up Card Reader** and follow the prompts.

**So, if you love using HUSL on your iPad, you don't need to switch devices to take payments. Just add the Stripe Card Reader and you're ready to take card payments through HUSL.**
