# How to Take Payment via Cash or Bank Transfer

## Quick steps to process in-store cash payments or accept bank transfers at checkout.

### **How to Take Payment for Cash or Bank Transfer**

You can easily record **cash** or **bank transfer** payments directly from the checkout.   
Follow the steps below based on the payment method your client chooses.

### **Cash Payment**

1. At the clients **Checkout**
2. Tap **Split / Other**
3. Select **Cash**
4. Scroll or tap the **$** field and enter the payment amount
5. Tap **Save**
6. You’ll return to the Checkout screen and see the amount listed under **Cash**
7. Tap **Complete Payment**

**What happens next?**

- Your client receives an automated payment receipt
- The cart status updates to **Transaction Complete** (shown in green at the top)

### **Bank Transfer Payment**

1. At the clients **Checkout**
2. Tap **Split / Other**
3. Select **Bank (Bank Transfer)**
4. Scroll or tap the **$** field and enter the payment amount
5. Tap **Save**
6. You’ll return to the Checkout screen and see the amount listed under **Bank**
7. Tap **Complete Payment**

**What happens next?**

- Your client automatically receives an invoice with your bank details
- The client completes the bank transfer
- Once payment is received, tap **Reconcile Bank Transfer**
- Tap **Accept Payment**
- The cart status updates to **Transaction Complete** (green at the top)

### 💡 Helpful Tips

- Ensure your **bank account details are added** in **Bank Settings** before accepting bank transfers
- Use **Split / Other** if combining payment methods
- Only reconcile a bank transfer once funds have cleared in your account
