How to Export Your Client Data from Client Diary

Step-by-step guide to exporting your clients, services and appointments from Client Diary so the HUSL team can import your data for you for FREE.

Moving to HUSL? The HUSL team can help you bring across your existing salon information with a free data import.

To get started, you'll need to request your exported data from Client Diary and send the files through to the HUSL team.

Your export should include:

  • Customer list
  • Services list
  • Appointments (including booking notes)

Follow the steps below to request your data.

Step 1: Email Client Diary to request your export

Client Diary does not provide an option for users to directly export all the required data. Instead, you will need to contact their support team and request the export.

Email:

contact@clientdiary.com

Copy and paste the email template below:

Subject: Request for data export

Hi,

Can you please export the following data as a CSV file:

Customer list:

  • First and last name
  • Mobile number
  • Email address
  • Customer notes

Services list

Appointments:

  • Including booking notes

Thank you.

Step 2: Send your exported files to HUSL

Once Client Diary sends you your export files:

  1. Save the CSV files to your device.
  2. Send the files to the HUSL Support team.
  3. Our team will prepare your data import.

Once imported, your client information, services and appointment history will be available inside HUSL, making your transition smoother.

💡 Tips before sending your export

✅ Make sure you request all three exports:

  • Customer list
  • Services list
  • Appointments with booking notes

✅ Keep the original CSV files unchanged before sending them to HUSL.

✅ Save a copy of your exported files for your own records.
