# How to Create a Task in My Calendar

## Block out time in your calendar for admin, breaks, errands, or personal appointments.

Need to block out time for something other than a client appointment? You can easily add tasks or personal events to your HUSL calendar so no one books you during that time.

### Step 1

To create a task first start on your calendar page. 

### Step 2

Select a day and time you would like to complete your task. 

### Step 3

Next click onto "Create Task" tab.

### Step 4

Once you're in the create task tab you'll be able to add a title and description to your task. 

### Step 5

Then set the duration of the task. You'll also be able to edit the day and time of your task in this page. 

### Step 6

Click "Create Task" to add the task to your calendar. 

💡 **Tips:**

- Use this to block off time for lunch, errands, admin days, school pick-up, anything you need.
- Add emjois to your titles (e.g. 💼 Admin, ☕ Break) to help visually plan your week.
- Want to book a full day off? Just create a full-day event and block it out!
- Or even blocking out for a two week break? Use the **Recurring feature** in the Task set-up!
