# How to connect the Stripe card reader

## In 6 simple steps you can connect your Card Reader in the HUSL app.

### Step 1

You will first need to have your \*Stripe account connected to the HUSL app

From the Home Screen, tap top let profile image

### Step 2

Tap on 'Payments'

### Step 3

Tap on 'Setup Card Reader'

### Step 4

Your phone will start looking for devices. Make sure your bluetooth is on and the card reader is turned on, charged and within reach

### Step 5

Tap on the device you want to connect to 

### Step 6

Your phone will ask you if you want to 'Pair'  
Select 'Pair' if it's the correct device

**USING AN IPAD OR ANDROID TABLET?**  
To prevent your card reader from going to sleep, keep it plugged into your tablet rather than connected via Bluetooth.

\*It is free to register for a Stripe account and it can take about 5-7 minutes to complete.
