Why is the dropship price different from the wholesale price?
Understand the difference between wholesale pricing and dropship pricing, and how each option works in HUSL.
The Wholesale price and Dropship price are different because they are designed for two different ways of selling products.
What is the wholesale price?
The Wholesale price is the price you pay when purchasing products for your salon.
With wholesale:
- You purchase the product upfront.
- You hold the stock in your salon.
- You can retail the product directly to your clients.
- There is no minimum order requirement.
- You receive competitive salon pricing.
What is the dropship price?
The Dropship price is the price your client pays when they purchase a product through your HUSL eStore and have it delivered directly to their door.
With dropshipping:
- You don’t need to purchase or hold stock.
- HUSL manages payment, fulfilment, tracking information to your client, and delivery.
- You earn 20% commission on every dropship sale.
- The dropship price is set at the product’s RRP (Recommended Retail Price).
Why is the dropship price higher than wholesale?
The dropship price is higher because it reflects the client retail price (RRP), while the wholesale price is your salon purchase price.
💡 Tip
When purchasing wholesale products, use the dropship price as your guide for the recommended retail price when selling products to your clients.
