Can I charge a surcharge for bookings on specific days?

HUSL doesn’t currently have an automatic day-of-week surcharge, but you can still set this up using two steps:

Step 1: Add the surcharge information to your Service Policy

Go to:

Booking Setup → Service Policy

Add clear wording explaining that a surcharge applies when clients book on your chosen day.

For example:

Sunday Surcharge: A surcharge applies to all Sunday appointments. If requesting to book on Suday, please add the Sunday Surcharge service to your booking.

Clients will see and agree to your Service Policy before they tap Confirm and select their preferred booking day and services.

Because HUSL online bookings come through as booking requests, you can review the request before accepting it. If the client has selected a day that attracts a surcharge, you can contact them to explain the additional fee and confirm the booking.

Step 2: Create a separate surcharge service

Go to Manage my Services and create a service called something like:

Sunday Surcharge

You can then toggle Featured Service on so it's easy to find, as it sits at the very top of your service list in your booking site.

When reviewing a booking that requires the surcharge, you can add the Sunday Surcharge to the client's booking.

💡 Tip: Make sure your Service Policy clearly explains the surcharge. This gives clients the information upfront before they request their appointment.
